In Ohio, one of the ways you can opt to end your marriage is through a dissolution instead of a divorce. The couple must jointly file a divorce dissolution petition and have a signed separation agreement detailing all property distribution, spousal support and child-related issues. After filing, the couple must wait at least 30 days until the court can hear their case but it will be heard within 90 days. Mackey Law will help the couple determine if dissolution is an appropriate way to dissolve the marriage and write all legal documents.
